Kocaeli Karta, which is used in public transportation service in Kocaeli, has been added to the HEPP code feature. Evaluating the demands from citizens, Büyükşehir extended the HES coded boarding until Monday, November 30.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT VEHICLES WILL BE BORDERED WITH HES CODE
As part of the fight against the Covid-19 outbreak, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality is implementing a new application. In this context, HEPP code feature was introduced to Kocaeli Card, which is used in public transportation throughout Kocaeli. As a result of the tests related to the HEPP Service of the Ministry of Health, with the approval of the Ministry, it is possible to board the sea transportation, trams, municipal buses, private public buses and minibuses with the HES query.

The fight against the Covid-19 epidemic, which affects the whole world, continues. Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality has implemented a new application in order to overcome the epidemic with the least damage and reduce the risk of transmission accordingly, to identify and isolate people in contact with people diagnosed with the disease. Within the scope of the work carried out, the “Hayat Home Fit” application prepared by the Ministry of Health for the epidemic period was integrated into the Kocaeli Card used in public transportation service in Kocaeli.
THE APPLICATION STARTS ON 30 NOVEMBER
Following the circular of the Ministry of Interior General Directorate of Provincial Administration dated 29.09.2020 and numbered 15993 on "HEPP Code Inquiry in Urban Public Transportation", in accordance with the decisions taken in the Kocaeli Provincial Public Health Board; HEPP Code identification system infrastructure works have been completed as a result of the studies carried out by the Department of Information Technologies and KentKart, the contractor of electronic / smart travel card systems serving Kocaeli, under the coordination of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Department. Citizens will be able to define their HES codes on their personal or general travel cards by completely filling in the relevant fields on the hes.kocaeli.bel.tr website. HEPP code identification procedures can be done until the end of Sunday, November 29, 2020.
Violation will be reported to the governorship and district governorship
With the cards with the HES code defined, the transportation application will start on Monday, 30 November 2020, and boarding will not be possible with undefined cards. Thus, personalized travel cards belonging to citizens who are diagnosed with Covid19 disease or who are in contact will be automatically suspended during the isolation period. Although he was informed that he was diagnosed with Covid19 or had to be in isolation due to his contact, the information of the people who are detected to be using public transportation vehicles will be shared with the governorship or district governorships via the Ministry of Internal Affairs (electronically via the e-Internal Affairs system) in order to apply the necessary administrative sanctions and, if necessary, to file a criminal complaint.
