TCDD 7th Regional Manager Adem Sivri, Afyonkarahisar MSB 13th Main Depot (Garrison) TCDD Teknik A.Ş. the authorities made examinations together and received information about the works from Railway Maintenance Service Manager V. Ahmet Özkan.
Sivri stated that the İltisak railway line was built in 1950 using wooden and iron sleepers according to the conditions of the day and has been serving for the logistics transportation of the Garrison Command for 70 years and expressed the strategic importance of the rehabilitation of this line.
Leaving Afyon Station, infrastructure improvement works have been completed in 3 km of railway line rehabilitation works including switches and loading roads, rail and sleeper laying works have started and are planned to be completed in a short time, Safe and comfortable transportation when the rehabilitation of the railway line is completed, and Park Afyon - It has been reported that the railway line between Güvenevler is aimed to be integrated into AFRAY Project.
