The US Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) announced that they discovered water in the Sun's first sunlight regions. Water was discovered in a crater located in the Moon's hemisphere. It is thought that the discovered water will be used in deep space exploration.

Scientists previously thought that water could not stay in atmospheric regions exposed to direct sunlight. With this discovery, it was revealed that instead of the shadow side of the Moon, water can be found in the regions that receive sunlight.

NASA says they hope the water they discover can be used for deep space exploration. However, it is not yet known whether this water is accessible.

The water was discovered in a crater in the southern hemisphere of the Moon.

Due to its weight, it is very costly to take water from Earth to the Moon or any other planet. That's why NASA officials say it is invaluable to have water that can be used on the Moon for astronauts to drink or convert it to breathable oxygen and as fuel.
