The IMM Wi-Fi service provided by IMM affiliate ISTTELKOM will be unlimited due to the 29 October Republic Day. The service offered within the scope of the celebrations to be held on the 97th anniversary of the Republic will continue for two days. Istanbulites will be able to connect to IMM Wi-Fi service free of charge on October 28 and 29, without quota. All IMM Wi-Fi points throughout Istanbul can be used from the application.
4 million users
The increased service quality by strengthening the infrastructure of Turkey's largest free Wi-Fi internet network IMM, the number of subscribers reached 4 million. The number of users of IMM Wi-Fi, which currently serves an average of 7 thousand users at 679 thousand 100 access points, is expected to increase with the new locations to be added. An average of 3 local and 700 foreign new users are registered to IMM Wi-Fi every day.
30 GB free internet per month
On other days, IMM Wi-Fi service provides 2 gigabytes of free internet service to Istanbul residents with a daily speed of 1 megabits and a quota of 30 gigabyte. From the IMM Wi-Fi service, an average of 200 terabytes of download and 25 terabytes of uploading are performed monthly.
Russia, Germany, Iran and England benefit the most from the citizens of other countries for IMM Wi-Fi. The most preferred locations are Beyoğlu İstiklal Caddesi, Sultanahmet, Kadıköy, Eminönü Square and Taksim Atatürk Library.
