Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu, Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Fadil Novaliç, Deputy Minister of Communication and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina Nedzad Brankovic hosted the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Ankara, HE Alagiç in his office.

Road and rail transport issues between the two countries were discussed at the meeting.

Minister Karaismailoğlu, together with the Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Fadil Novalic, expressed his satisfaction with the visit of Deputy Minister of Communication and Transport Nedzad Brankovic and Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Ankara, Mr. Alagiç.

In the meeting, Karaismailoğlu primarily conveyed his wishes to the Bosnian citizens who lost their lives due to the coronavirus epidemic under the influence of the whole world, and healing to those who struggle with the disease.

"We try to solve all the problems faced by Bosnia and Herzegovina as if it were our own."

Underlining that Bosnia and Herzegovina is almost like the mosaic of the Balkans, as stated by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Minister Karaismailoğlu said, “Our relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina, to which we are firmly connected with historical roots, are always important for us. We try to solve all the problems faced by Bosnia and Herzegovina as if it were our own. For this, we will continue to provide all kinds of support to Bosnia and Herzegovina with all our institutions and organizations on both bilateral and multilateral platforms ”.

Noting that they will always be in solidarity with Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to further develop relations in the field of transportation as well as political, cultural and economic relations, Minister Karaismailoğlu said, “Today, we have reviewed the steps that can be taken in the field of transportation in order to further these rare relations. In this context, we discussed the latest developments in the Sarajevo-Belgrade Highway project, which our President is also closely interested in ”.

Karaismailoğlu also stated that they are negotiating what can be done to improve relations between the two countries in the field of railway transportation.
