Regulation Regarding Special Passport Given to Exporters

Company officials who do not fulfill the return obligation of the specially stamped passport given to exporters will not be given special stamped passports for 4 years.

With the Decision Amending the Decree on Principles Regarding the Issuance of Special Stamped Passports to Exporters, annexed to the Presidential Decision No. 07.10.2020 dated 31267, published in the Official Gazette dated 06.10.2020 and numbered 3064, the following amendments were made;

  • Definitions in the 3rd article of the decision have been changed. The competent authority has been adjusted to the Ministry of Commerce and affiliated units.
  • The duration of specially stamped passports to be issued within the scope of the decision has been increased from two to four years.
  • The application procedure and article 8 titled have been changed, and the approval authorities related to the application have been amended.
  • A regulation has been made that those who lose any of the conditions for obtaining a special stamped passport will not be given a special stamped passport for 15 years if they do not return the passport within 10 days.
