Darıca Martyr Er Gökhan Hüseyinoğlu Beach Park, which has attracted the attention of citizens since its opening, has become one of the attraction centers of Kocaeli. Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality is building a new parking lot at the entrance to the west side of the park, aiming to prevent parking problems for the citizens who come to the beach park to relax with the green and deep blue sea. With the work done, the number of parking lots in the coastal park will increase to three.
NEW PARKING FOR 303 VEHICLES
In the work carried out by the Department of Science, the construction of a parking lot is being carried out on an area of 4 thousand 300 square meters in the western part of the coastal park. 303 meters of rainwater production and 320 thousand 2 tons of PMT pavement were made for the car park, which will have a capacity of 300 vehicles.
THOUSAND 500 TONE ASPHALT SPREAD
Within the scope of the parking lot, Metropolitan Municipality teams will lay a total of 500 tons of asphalt on the area. In the car park where the middle median manufacturing will also be made, there will also be special parking spaces for disabled vehicles.
IT WILL BE THE THIRD PARKING
Darıca beach park has two parking lots in its current state. A third parking lot is being built in order to prevent parking problems for citizens, especially in the evening and on weekends.
