The opening schedule and schedule of the 23 World Mountain Bike Marathon Championship, which will be held in Sakarya between October 25-2020, has been announced. The championship, which will be opened at 23:20.00 on Friday, October 25, will last for two days and will end with a giant race on Sunday, October XNUMX. The opening schedule and schedule of the 23 World Mountain Bike Marathon Championship, which will be held between October 25-2020, hosted by Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality, has been announced. The opening ceremony of the giant championship, which will be held in Sakarya for the first time under the auspices of the Presidency, will be held on Friday, October 23 at 20.00:2020 in Sunflower Bicycle Valley. The championship begins
The events of the championship, which will turn the eyes of the whole world to Sakarya, will start with the Gran Fondo races on Saturday, October 24th. For the Sakarya Gran Fondo races, where all cycling enthusiasts will compete, the contestants will start on Saturday, September 24th from Sunflower Bicycle Valley at 9.30. The short track will be 50 and the long track will be 100 kilometers. The pedals to be turned on the Northern Marmara Motorway route will be open to all amateur cyclists. Athlete registrations and accreditation will also take place on Saturday between 14.00:17.00 and 15.00:XNUMX. The press conference of the championship will be held on the same day at XNUMX:XNUMX in Sunflower Bicycle Valley.
The final day of the championship is Sunday, October 25th
The races, in which world-famous cyclists will compete with each other, will be held on Sunday, October 25th. The races, which will be broadcast live from many local and foreign channels, will start at 12.00 in the men's category and at 12.30 in the women's category. Master cyclists will compete for the world championship title on the 110 km for men and 81 km for women. The award ceremony of the championship will be held when the competitors who get degrees in their categories reach the finish point.
