The mass opening of the City Hospital and investments in Konya was held with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the ministers.
Konya Deputy Ziya Altunyaldız, TCDD General Manager Ali İhsan Uygun, TCDD Transport General Manager Kamuran Yazıcı, Deputy General Managers and officials attended the ceremony held at the Konya Kayacık Logistics Center for the simultaneous mass opening.
Speaking at the mass opening ceremony, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that he sees Konya industry as the gateway to the world and that the Kayacık Logistics Center will be established on a total area of 1 million square meters, and stated that this Logistics Center will also contribute to the employment of the city. Konya's industrial, agricultural and service sectors stating that Turkey's shining star and prepared very big breakthrough with this investment, the words continued as follows:

Adil Karaismailoğlu, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, said, “The logistics sector is the main powerhouse of the world economy and international trade. With an export-oriented logistics infrastructure, we are building the infrastructure that will support approximately $ 1 trillion of exports in the long run. We see 25 logistics centers that we will build in order to increase the competitiveness of our industrialists and make our country the logistics base of the region, among the most important investments. Today, as the 10th of these centers, we are getting one step closer to this goal with Konya Kayacık Logistics Center. With this center, Konya will increase its share in international transportation corridors and will become an important freight transfer center. he spoke.
Underlining that they have brought 1,7 million tons of transportation capacity and 1 million square meters of logistics area in our country, Karaismailoğlu; “With the fuel filling, unloading and storage facility completed on an area of 50 thousand square meters, we are the first to implement an application in Kayacık among the logistics center projects. We are also implementing highway investments that will support the agricultural, commercial and industrial activities of Konya, which is located at the crossroads of the highway connections extending in the direction of the East-West and North-South axis, which provide the main transportation of our country. We are opening the first part of 122 kilometers of Konya Ring Road, which we have designed in 3 sections with a total length of 22 kilometers. Konya Ring Road will encircle the city in a full circle and will provide fast, safe and comfortable transportation to important tourism and trade centers that will connect the surrounding provincial roads and inner city roads.
