Konya Kayacık Logistics Center is inaugurated today with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Kayacık Logistics Center, will increase its share in Turkey's international transport corridor and will be an important transfer point. Kayacık Logistics Center will have an annual transportation capacity of 1,7 million tons and will provide 1 million square meters of logistics area. In the center, there is a container stock area, truck parking area, customs area, fuel transfer station, loading and unloading areas, 450 kilometers long railway connection, maintenance workshops, warehouses, service and social facilities in a concrete area of 30 thousand square meters. For the first time among logistics centers, a fuel filling, unloading and storage facility was established in Kayacık Logistics Center on an area of 50 thousand square meters.
All of the centers will be made when the logistics base of services to Turkey Turkish logistics sector will have an additional annual capacity of 12,8 million square meters of logistics space and approximately 35,6 million tons.
