The center was established on an area of ​​13 square meters. The second floor, called the "Space Floor", offers information about atmospheric events, the solar system, planets and galaxies.


GUHEM, which is one of the pillars of the Gökmen Project, which was implemented by BTSO Chairman İbrahim Burkay and the board of directors in 2013, aims to increase the awareness of children and young people in the field of space and aviation. Attracting attention with its architecture and receiving awards in the category of "Public Buildings" at the 2019 European Property Awards (European Property Awards 2019), where the best buildings of today and the future are selected by the international jury, the center will be the best in Europe and one of the 5 best centers in the world.


İbrahim Burkay, Chairman of the Board of Directors of BTSO, said that GUHEM was set up within the scope of the Gökmen Project, which they put forward when they took office in 2013. "It is the best in Central Europe and one of the top 5 centers in the world."
