It was reported that domestic civil air transport capacity in China reached 98 percent of the normal level in the third quarter of the year. China Ministry of Transport and Transport SözcüSü Wu Chungeng stated at the press conference that despite the effects of the Covid-19 outbreak, fixed asset investments in China in the field of transportation and transportation remained at a high level in the first three quarters of the year.
Expressing that there has been a positive growth in the volume of goods transportation in the country for five consecutive months, Wu said that there is also a rapid increase trend in EMS cargo, China-Europe freight train services and rail and sea-based container transportation.
Underlining that the high-speed train and civil air transport capacity rapidly recovered in the third quarter, Wu said, "In the third quarter, civil airline domestic transport capacity reached 98 percent of the previous level, and rail transport capacity reached 80 percent of the normal level."
