According to the results of TCDD Employees and Retirees Social Assistance Foundation, 2020 YKS, the base points regarding the scholarships to be given to members and their children have been determined.
The announcement on the subject is as follows: “According to the results of the 2020 Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS); Members and members who are placed in a higher education program with 445 points in DİL score type, 495 in SAY, 435 in EA, 400 and above in SÖZ and placed in a higher education program in their field, regardless of their score in 2020 YKS, a monthly scholarship of 150 TL. They will be able to benefit from the help. If two or more children, including the member himself, study in a 4-year or more higher education program with attendance requirement, those who score 20 points below the announced scores will also be eligible for scholarship assistance.
In addition, the children of our members who died while working will continue to benefit from scholarships for a period of one-time scholarship for the duration of their education as long as their education continues.
Those who are eligible for scholarship support will apply to the Foundation center by the end of December with the signed petition of the member, a photocopy of the student's identity card, the student certificate and the 2020 ÖSYM YKS Result Document. Applications made after 31 December 2020 will be evaluated in the following year. Students who have previously been awarded scholarships will continue to receive scholarships if they submit their education status documents to the Foundation headquarters. Our members who were members of our Foundation before 12.06.2020, when the LYS exam was held by ÖSYM, will benefit from scholarship assistance.
