State Airports Authority (DHMİ) announced that the tender for Çukurova Airport was postponed to 20 November.
A new date has been set for the tender for the Construction of Çukurova Airport Superstructure Facilities within the Framework of the Build-Operate Transfer Model, and the Operation and Transfer of the Airport.

DHMİ announced in the Official Gazette that the tender for Çukurova Airport, which was planned to be held on October 26, was postponed until November 20.

The Çukurova Regional Airport project was left unfinished twice due to the contractor leaving the job. The third tender was held on March 16, 2020.

The tender was awarded to Günbeton-Terminal A.Ş. the joint venture group earned 100 million Euros in lease. However, the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Adil Karaismailoğlu, obeyed the suggestion of DHMİ and canceled the tender.
