The Georgian civil aviation sector will expand with Air Georgia, the new airline that plans to start passenger transport in 2021.
In the first place, the airline company will operate its flights from Tbilisi International Airport with two Airbus A180 aircraft with a capacity of 320 passengers.
Air Georgia is planning flights to European and Central Asian countries.
The airline is waiting for the necessary permits from the Georgian Civil Aviation Office.
There were only two local airlines in Georgia so far. These; Georgian Airways, founded in September 1993, and Myway Airlines, which started operations in 2018.
Founded in 2015, Air Georgia has been operating cargo flights with a single plane since then.
