Afyonkarahisar Mayor Mehmet Zeybek said that he was very happy when the needy had their troubles resolved and said, “Someone's problem wouldn't come and tell you if he didn't have a problem. We are trying to find a solution whenever possible. I am affected and saddened when he has trouble and cannot find a solution.
Saying, “The day I am happiest is the day I see the work of a strange,” Mayor Zeybek said, “Being able to solve the problem of a needy always makes me happy. I also experience this often. If they didn't have someone's problem, they wouldn't come and tell you. We are trying to find a solution whenever possible. "I am affected and saddened when he has trouble and cannot find a solution." Stating that he was introduced to politics while he was a student, President Zeybek said, 'I started working at the National Turkish Student Union. Provincial Presidency was offered in the establishment of the AK Party. Since I have a joint business, I could not accept it. I was among the founders. First İbrahim Hakkı Aşkar and then Burhanettin Çoban became the Provincial President. President Shepherd is my political companion of years. There is no problem between us. We have always worked side by side. I continue to serve politics, not only with the Shepherd, but with my friends from any party without any problems. '
"I FOLLOW THE MILITARY AIRPORT"
Mentioning the issue of opening the military airport in our province to civilian flights, Mayor Zeybek said, “Our Minister of National Defense came to our city on the Victory Day before the election. We had communicated to him that the military airport would be much more efficient if it was opened to civilian flights. Our citizens also want this to happen. He said it could happen. Then there was a virus incident. I reminded them of this issue again at a meeting attended only by Mayors. "I continue to be a follower of the subject."
"PROJECT TENDER MADE IN AFRAY"
Referring to the AFRAY project, Zeybek said, “We had reached an agreement with the State Railways before the election. Our city is a university city. When the students moved to Erenler, our shopkeepers in the city center are not satisfied with this situation. So we thought about how we could bring the student back to the center. We talked to DDY about this issue and AFRAY project came out. DDY will lay lines and we will build the stations. The project tender was made. The company that won the project tender a month ago made a presentation to us. Ali Çetinkaya Station, departing from Park Afyon AVM, Karşıyaka They said let's get to Çayırbağ after the neighborhood, Witnesses Rock and the university. I said not to go to Çayırbağ. Now, I wanted them not to say they have their own town installed. I said let this line go until the university. A second line would be laid parallel to the İhsaniye-Eskişehir railway line and would end at the station behind the university. I have expressed to the authorities that it will not be used. Because nobody wants to get off there and walk to the university. As a result of discussions with the authorities, we placed this line in front of the Rectorate by putting a scissors in the dormitory area. Right now, we will build a station on the campus where the minibus stop is and continue the line until the end of the university. We have planned a line that all students studying on campus can use comfortably in Erenler. The suburban line will be connected to the high-speed train line with a switch. ”(Source: Newspaper3)
