Karaman Municipality carried out a signaling system work in areas with high traffic in the city.
In order to find solutions to pedestrian and vehicle traffic, which is one of the important problems of Karaman, Karaman Municipality conducted a signaling system study by the teams of the Transportation Services Directorate in the required areas of the city in line with the data obtained as a result of the research. Within the scope of the studies; Traffic light application was applied to the intersection of Alparslan Türkeş Boulevard and Şehit Şahin Mavi Street, and the traffic light application was applied to the intersection of Kenzi Street and Hacı Ömer Kayserilioğlu Street. Again, the Push-Late System was applied on İbrahim Öktem Avenue (pedestrian crossing to KMU University and Computer High School), Şehit Fethi Sekin Street (the street behind TOKİ 2 Yavuz Sultan Selim Secondary School) and Zeytin Dalı Boulevard (in front of the 19 Mayıs Primary School).
The teams reported that the regulatory work will continue in areas with heavy traffic.
