CHP Izmir Deputy Kani Beko, who reacted to the removal of the White Wagon in front of the Alsancak Station and brought the issue to the agenda of the Assembly, was answered.

CHP İzmir Deputy Kani Beko reacted to the removal of the "White Wagon", which Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk used on his domestic trips from 1926 to 1937, from Alsancak Station, where he had been for years, with a midnight operation, and the Ata heritage wagon was removed because it blocked the front of the Gar mosque. He also carried his claim to the Parliament.

In the reply from the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, it was reported that the White Wagon will be exhibited in the museum. In the reply signed by Minister Adil Karaismailoğlu, it was stated that the 'White Wagon' exhibited in front of Alsancak Station, together with the Yaverler and the Health Wagon on the 1st Platform of Alsancak Station, was carefully transported in order to be exhibited in a controlled, covered, safe and museum-like area.

CHP's Beko stated that they will follow the issue in order to fulfill this promise made for the White Wagon and said, “It is sad that our ancestral heritage is removed from an area that all Izmir residents see almost every day, but of course we do not want it to be worn out. If there are no other reasons, if they keep their promise sincerely, we promise that every Izmir citizen, our school-age children, will visit the White Wagon there. We will not leave the White Wagon alone in a secluded corner ”.
