The foundation of the SGK Bridge Crossroad, which was given good news to the city by Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem Yüce, is being laid. The Metropolitan Municipality previously announced that the preparations for the project had begun, and the project design process of the investment, which the city was eagerly awaiting, was completed. After the tender, studies were initiated. Defining the SGK Bridge Crossroads as a very important project for the transportation of the city, Mayor Ekrem Yüce said, “We made our evaluations based on scientific data. The increasing number of vehicles and the growing city structure made it necessary for us to take some steps in transportation. We have a responsibility to prepare the transportation of the city for the future. In this direction, I have previously stated that we will implement a new transportation project at the SGK Junction, which is the entrance to Sakarya, and I have announced our project. We have recently made its tender. I hope we are laying the foundation on Friday, October 9. Good luck ”he said.
Transitions to 3 districts will be relaxed
Stating that SGK Köprülü Junction will bring comfort to the region in transportation, President Ekrem Yüce shared the details as follows: “As it is known, SGK Junction, where we will realize our project, is the region where vehicles are used the most from the Anatolian Highway and D-100 highway. Traffic densities occur on Orhangazi Street from time to time. Direct crossings will be possible with the bridge junction we will build. Vehicles coming through Orhangazi Street can easily continue their journey under the junction. SGK Interchange, located at the intersection of our Erenler, Serdivan and Adapazarı districts, will ease the transportation to all three districts. ”
