Continuing his visit to Artvin by examining the Yusufeli road and tunnel constructions, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu said, “Our friends are working hard to complete Yusufeli Dam and Yusufeli dam roads as soon as possible. Karaismailoğlu stated that, as the ministry, the works on relocation roads are carried out with devotion due to the fact that the existing roads related to the dam are under water, and said, “We are constructing a road of 69 kilometers here. 56 kilometers of these roads are built as tunnels. We have a 51-kilometer tunnel road in Artvin. Until 2003, the total length of the tunnel 50 kilometers in Turkey, while the 51-kilometer tunnel in Artvin currently available.
