Private Buses Operating Under EGO in Ankara Withdrawn from Lines

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality announced that the operators of Private Public Transport Vehicles (ELV) have removed their vehicles from the lines they operate under the contract as of today. The municipality announced that it has started a legal process regarding the operators who pulled their lines.

Operators of Private Public Transport Vehicles (ELV) affiliated to the Ankara Public Buses Cooperative (AHOK), which operates under the supervision of the EGO General Directorate, have withdrawn their vehicles from the lines they operate under the contract as of October 7, 2020.

On the grounds that the route arrangements of Private Public Transport Vehicles were not included in the General Assembly of the Transportation Coordination Center (UKOME), in the lines where a total of 14 vehicles operating on 146 routes are towed;

- With additional ring services with metro connection on the routes of Sincan and Etimesgut region

- With the additional services provided to the same routes in Mamak, Altındağ and Keçiören regions,

Service is provided within the existing vehicle and personnel possibilities of our EGO General Directorate. Legal process has been initiated regarding the operators pulling their lines.
