The transparent panel application initiated by Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş to protect the health of tradesmen and citizens is being implemented in EGO buses after taxi, minibus and C plate service vehicles.
Transparent Cabin Application in EGO Buses
While the Metropolitan Municipality increases the measures for hygiene and social distance rules in public transportation vehicles, it is aimed to minimize the contact between the passenger and the driver as much as possible thanks to the transparent panel placed in the driver section of the 450 buses belonging to EGO.
Expressing that they aim to protect the health of both citizens and drivers with the transparent cabin application that will be applied to 50 buses per day until the assembly process is completed, EGO Deputy General Manager Zafer Tekbudak gave the following information:
“As EGO General Directorate, we have had many applications until today. First, we started with the distribution of disinfectants and masks. With the decision taken by the Ankara Provincial General Hygiene Board, we affixed the stickers (stickers) explaining the social distance to the buses. Finally, transparent cabin construction has started. We are planning to make a transparent cabin application for our thousand 450 vehicles. We will complete this process in a fast time. "
