October Unemployment and Short Work Allowance Payments to be Made on 5 November; Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk, Minister of Family, Labor and Social Services, announced that the unemployment and short-time work payments for October will be deposited into accounts on November 5th.

Minister Selçuk said, "We will deposit unemployment and short-time work allowance payments for October into the bank accounts of our citizens on November 5th." said.

Short Work Allowance and Unemployment Allowance will be deposited into citizens' IBAN accounts. Payments to citizens who do not have IBAN information will be made via PTT.
Stating that the support will continue for the protection of employment in the new normal process, Minister Selçuk stated that they will continue to stand by the employees and employers.

Minister Selçuk also reminded that the Short Work Allowance was extended until 31.12.2020 with the approval of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
