Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk, Minister of Family, Labor and Social Services, announced that around 5 million TL will be paid to those in need with 99 cash social support programs.
Minister Selçuk, social aid payments for needy military families and children, widowed women, those with chronic diseases and orphans / orphans for October started on Saturday, 24.10.2020.
Support for Families of Soldiers in Need
Making statements regarding the details of the social assistance provided, Minister Selçuk stated that they support the families of the needy soldiers and soldiers who carry out compulsory military service in 2-month periods and that they will deposit 32 million TL in the accounts of approximately 25,8 thousand needy people.
Approximately 482 Thousand TL Support to Soldier Children
Reminding that they increased the monthly payment amount by 50 percent within the scope of the Aid Program for the Children of Needy Soldiers, Minister Selçuk said, “In this context, we will pay 2 thousand TL to nearly 482 thousand needy people this month”.
89 million TL support for 57,2 thousand women in need
Minister Selçuk stated that they are with the needy women whose husband has passed away and said, "We will provide a total of 90 million TL support to our 57,2 thousand women in need."
We Will Pay 12 Million TL For Needy Orphans and Orphans
Stating that they support children under the age of 18, whose mother, father or both have passed away, Minister Selçuk noted that they will deposit a total of 41 million TL in the accounts of 12 thousand people.
2 Million TL Assistance for 3,2 Thousand Needy People with Chronic Disease
Selçuk also underlined that they provide cash aid to those with chronic diseases, and we will provide 2 million TL support to 3,2 thousand needy people ”.
Minister Selçuk stated that Chronic Disease Aid payments will be made as of October 25, 2020, Cash Aid for Needy Soldiers' Families, Cash Assistance for Children of Needy Soldiers, Cash Assistance for Women Who Have Deceased Spouses and Orphan and Orphan Aid payments will be made between 24-28 October 2020.
