Transformer Causing a Danger in Mehmet Ali Pasha Was Destroyed

The transformer numbered TR 307, located on the Eastern Barracks Field of İzmit District Mehmet Ali Paşa District and located at the crossing side of the tram, was destroyed by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality. The destruction of the transformer, which created a danger for vehicles and pedestrians during the passage of the tram, gained the satisfaction of the locals.

IT WAS A DANGER TO VEHICLES AND SPRINGS

It was decided to remove the transformer, which is located on the İzmit Mehmet Ali Paşa District Doğukışla area and is very close to the tram stop and the route, as it poses a danger to pedestrians at the entrance of the park and tram stop. Following the decision, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Building Control Department Energy, Lighting and Mechanical Works Branch Office started work for the demolition of TR 307 transformer.

OLD TRANSFORMER MOVED TO ANOTHER PLACE

Before the demolition work, a safe place was allocated for the 1600 KVA transformer facility, which was used to provide electricity to Mehmet Ali Pasha Neighborhood, and a new transformer building was built. The old substation was emptied and made ready for demolition.

WITH SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The transformer was demolished by taking the necessary security measures. In order not to harm the environment, the debris was wetted with the water tank during the demolition. During the demolition, Deputy Secretary General of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Mustafa Altay was also present. The demolition was welcomed by the citizens.
