With the decision of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Council, public transportation services across Istanbul will be free between 2020:2021 - 12:2020 on Monday, October 06, 00, which is the beginning of the 14-00 academic year.
According to the decision, included in the Istanbulkart fee integration; IETT Buses, Private Public Buses, metrobus, nostalgic tram, tunnel vehicles, City Line ferries, private sea public transportation vehicles, Metro Istanbul tram, subway, light metro, funicular, cable car and Kadıköy Moda nostalgic tram vehicles and Bus AŞ vehicles will serve for free.
