Minister of Justice Abdulhamit Gül visited HAVELSAN with Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology, and Selçuk Bayraktar, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of T3 Foundation. Meeting with the participants of the Herd UAV Simulation Competition, Gül received information about the competition from HAVELSAN officials.

Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Özgül Özkan Yavuz, Gaziantep Mayor Fatma Şahin and Karadeniz Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. Hamdullah Çuvalcı was among those who visited HAVELSAN.

HAVELSAN executives visited the winners of the Rocket Competition and congratulated the young people for their success.

On the third day of TEKNOFEST, our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, General Manager of HAVELSAN Dr. He received information about our Attack Helicopter Simulator ATAKSIM from Mehmet Akif Nacar.

Awards found their owners in the enthusiastic marathon

The 1 teams that made it to the finals in the Herd UAV Simulation Competition, which HAVELSAN has supported for 6 year in everything from training to consulting and executive activities; 5 different scenarios were studied and evaluated. The ranking teams were determined by scoring using the Simulation Scoring Software developed by HAVELSAN.

Winners of the competition were announced at the ceremony attended by the Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu.

The team named Mergen from Maltepe University was the first, Esteknik R&D team from Eskişehir Technical University was the second, and Anatek Ebabil team from METU came third. Gamma team from ITU was also the team that made the best presentation.

In addition to Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu, Turkish Armed Forces Foundation Financial Affairs and Subsidiaries Group President Erhan Sipahioğlu, T3 Foundation Chairman of the Board of Trustees Selçuk Bayraktar, Chairman of the Board of Directors Haluk Bayraktar and HAVELSAN General Manager Dr. Mehmet Akif Nacar and HAVELSAN executives also attended the award ceremony.

The first 40 thousand, the second 30 thousand and the third team won the prize of 20 thousand TL.
