While the second phase of the face-to-face education started on Monday, October 12, the final preparations in the schools were evaluated at the video conference held by the Deputy Ministers of National Education Mustafa Safran and Reha Denemeç and the national education directors of 81 provinces. Pointing out that the latest decisions taken regarding village schools and pre-school education are of great importance for students and families, Deputy Minister Safran emphasized that the priority is a safe and healthy education environment and drew attention to the hygiene and social distance standards in all educational institutions.
In the second phase of the face-to-face training, which will start on Monday, October 12, the final preparations in schools were discussed at the video conference held by Deputy Ministers Mustafa Safran and Reha Denemeç with the directors of national education from 81 provinces. The meeting was held in Tevfik İleri Hall in the central building of the Ministry, Staff General Manager Ömer İnan, General Manager of Secondary Education Cengiz Mete, General Manager of Primary Education Cem Gençoğlu, General Manager of Vocational and Technical Education Kemal Varın Numanoğlu, General Manager of Religious Education Nazif Yılmaz, Special Education and Mehmet Nezir Gül, General Manager of Guidance Services, İsmail Çolak, General Manager of Support Services, and Özgür Türk, Head of Information Technologies Department, also attended.
Drawing attention to the fact that face-to-face education is started every weekday in pre-school education is very important especially for working families, Deputy Minister Safran emphasized that social distance and hygiene standards will be applied with great care in line with the activities in the "Contactless Games Book".
In this process, Safran pointed out that the importance of village schools increased even more and said, "With the great sensitivity our Minister Ziya Selçuk showed to village schools, we are happy to start face-to-face education in all levels and classes in these schools, which have low population and student density, and are intertwined with nature." Noting that the decisions to be taken in cooperation with the Provincial Sanitation Boards are also important, Safran emphasized that the health and safety of students comes first.
In the second phase of the face-to-face training, as in the first stage, Deputy Minister Safran stated that the hygiene and social distance standards will be fully implemented under the guidance of the Ministry of Health and the Scientific Committee, and ordered the supply of hygiene and disinfectant products in coordination with the production processes in educational institutions.
Deputy Minister Reha Denemeç shared information about the distribution processes of tablet computers. Stating that first of all, mechanisms were created based on data to identify students in need, Denemeç drew attention to the fact that distribution processes will be carried out with the same sensitivity.
