In one year, 45 ships were maintained at Haliç Shipyard. In addition to the ferries and ships belonging to IMM, BOTAŞ, General Directorate of Coastal Safety, Ministry of Justice, GESTAŞ and private enterprises, four more ships will be taken into maintenance before the end of the year. In the last one year, a total of 45 ships were taken inside for the works of the pool, deck and machinery at the IMM City Lines Haliç Shipyard, which is the oldest living shipyard in the world. At the shipyard, a total of 24 ships of IMM and its affiliates, 10 of BOTAŞ, 4 of the General Directorate of Coastal Safety, 3 of the private enterprises, and one of each of the Ministry of Justice and GESTAŞ, went through maintenance and repair at the shipyard. At the Shipyard, where all 2 pools are constantly full, 3 more ships whose tender is awarded will go into maintenance before the year ends.
"Production capacity and efficiency will increase"
Pointing out that the main goals of Haliç Shipyard are to increase production capacity and management efficiency, İBB City Lines General Manager Sinem Dedetaş said: kazanHe said they were trying to get out. Dedetaş said:

They returned home for maintenance
Emphasizing that Haliç Shipyard has brought its idle experience and knowledge back to life, Haliç Shipyard Manager Sinan Erdinç said, “The shipyard already had a great experience and knowledge. It was just idle. We do high standard and very special works. Some of the ships that came to our shipyard in the last year were produced here in the past years; Lapseki, Tuzla, Anadolu Feneri are some of them. Therefore, the ships built here returned to their homes for maintenance, ”he said.
They came from Çanakkale and İzmir
Botaş, Kırıkkale, Marmara Ereğlisi, Namık Kemal Aydın, Yapracık in the shipyard; Nazım Tour, Rescue 3 and Rescue 4 tugboats of the General Directorate of Coastal Safety; Ministry of Justice, Tuzla; TURYAP's Anadolu Feneri and Dentur Avrasya's Turgut Yüksel ship were overhauled.
Finally, GESTAŞ's Lapseki ferryboat from Çanakkale entered the shipyard for major maintenance. 3 ships of GESTAŞ and 1 ship of İzdeniz from İzmir will be taken into maintenance at the Shipyard before the year ends.
