Adil Karaismailoğlu, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, said that Rize-Artvin Airport is a very special airport in terms of both its architecture and superstructure, as it is a seafill.
Minister Karaismailoğlu made examinations at the construction site of Rize-Artvin Airport and received information from the relevant authorities regarding the latest state of the works.
Karaismailoğlu stated to the journalists that they examined the projects of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure in Rize today and made consultations on the studies.

Karaismailoğlu, who stated that they aim to open the airport at this time next year and that they continue their work in this direction, made the following assessment:
“Our airport is a very special airport both in terms of being a seafill and in terms of its architectural structure and superstructure. As we always say, transportation projects, especially the projects of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, are the most important projects in the world in terms of engineering.
