Located in Topkapı, Istanbul, known as Panorama 1453 History Museum, this museum is a panoramic museum where the conquest of Istanbul by Fatih Sultan Mehmet, cannonballs in a room, the neighing of the Mehter Team and the Ottoman horses are given as an effect. It is located in Topkapı Park.

The design and project design of the museum, which was opened on January 31, 2009, started in 2003, and the implementation work started in 2005. The museum was completed in 2008 at a cost of $ 5 million and also has the distinction of being Turkey's first panoramic museum. The owner of the museum idea and the coordinator of the project is the painter Haşim Vatandaş.

Panoramic painting works of the museum were started by 8 artists in 2005 and completed in 2008. There are 10.000 figure drawings in this panoramic picture. The demolished parts of the walls of the painting and the sizes of these regions were drawn according to the report presented to Hızır Bey, the first mayor of Istanbul, regarding the repair of the walls.

The panoramic picture is drawn on a 38 meter diameter hemisphere. The painting covering the inner surface of the hemisphere is 2.350 m2, the platform where the 3-dimensional objects between the painting and the visitor platform are 650 m2 and the visitor from all directions is II. The takbir sounds of Mehmed's thousands of soldiers and the Mehter Anthem are surrounded. In addition, pigment ink is used in the painting, which can last for more than 100 years.

When the viewer climbs onto this platform in the museum, they may experience a 10-second shock. The person who looks at the panoramic painting in the museum for the first time will not be able to grasp the real dimensions of the work due to their optical habits. This is due to the lack of references, such as starting and ending points, which will enable us to understand the dimensions of the picture. The museum gives the visitor the feeling of going out into a 3-dimensional outdoor space even though a closed space is entered.

The museum is located opposite the Topkapı-Edirnekapı walls where the siege passed. Around the museum, Topkapı Walls where the first Turkish soldiers entered Constantinople and the walls in Silivrikapı can be seen.
