Van Metropolitan Municipality has completed the construction of 6 new bridges in 8 districts.
Metropolitan Municipality continues its efforts for safer and more modern transportation networks in the city. While prestige street, new road and asphalt works are being carried out on one side, new bridges are built on the other side, making the roads more comfortable. In this context, new bridges built at 13 points in 30 districts under the coordination of the Department of Science are being completed one by one. Until now, 8 new bridges have been completed and put into service, including the entrance of İpekyolu's Ilıkaynak neighborhood and the inner part of the neighborhood, Karakoç neighborhood, Dağören of Muradiye, Gürpınar Taşdönaken, Edremit's Taşkonak, Bahçesaray's Papatya and Çaldıran's Sungur neighborhood roads. .
Seydibey, Yünkuşak and Ayazca districts of Özalp, Ulusar of Muradiye, Karagündüz of İpekyolu, Bostaniçi, City Bazaar of Erciş and Ada hamlet, Çaldıran's Guide-Yanıktaş, Yücelen, Gürpınar's Çakınlı, Erkaldı, Başkale Work continues on the bridges to be built in Albayrak, Ekecek, Dereiçi and Deringeçit districts, Daldere district of Gevaş, Kardeşler and Gölgelik hamlets, between Ocaklı-Yemlice neighborhoods of Tusba and Çardak neighborhood roads of Saray.
The bridges, which are manufactured with the cast-in-place system, consist of 3 sections: auto guardrail, vehicle road and pedestrian road, while the size of the bridges varies between 3 meters by 2 meters and 27 meters by 4 meters.
