IMM Directorate of the Disabled is starting free online lessons to teach Turkish Sign Language to anyone who wishes, within the scope of the "Hearing Impaired Week" awareness activities. The application deadline for the courses to be given online by expert trainers in accordance with the pandemic rules is October 9, 2020.
The trainings to be given free of charge by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), open to everyone from 7 to 70 who want to overcome obstacles and learn a new language, aim to teach sign language at a basic level. The training organized within the scope of "Hearing Impaired Week" awareness activities; will be given by three expert trainers. Online Sign Language Training will be two hours, two days a week, and will last 40 weeks over a total of 10 hours.
PARTICIPATION CERTIFICATE FOR COMPLETING THE COURSE
The trainings will continue interactively in the classes to be opened during the day, evening and weekend. Participation Certificate will be given to trainees who complete all courses.
