BAKKA Logistics Center Meeting Held with TCDD Tasimacilik

Ankara Freight Service Manager Levent Öz, TCDD Zonguldak Çatalağzı Logistics Manager Vedat Vecdi Akça, BAKKA Zonguldak Investment Support Office Coordinator Mustafa Ayhan İnanır, expert Kübra Birhan, Strategy Development and Programming Unit Head Mehmet Çetinkaya and the project team attended.

In the online meeting, first of all, information was given about the Agency's activities, and the background and justification of the Logistics Center Research and Pre-Feasibility Report study were given. Then, railways officials gave information about TCDD's existing and planned logistics centers and their successful examples, load types and capacities, freight traffic with ports, existing and planned railway lines and their rehabilitation processes, the railway line coming to Filyos region and the project works to be carried out.

Within the scope of the Filyos Valley Project, the requirement for a logistics center in the region was evaluated in terms of railways and mutual views were exchanged.
