Receiving the gratitude of the citizens for the Metro project in a series of examinations in Darıca district, Marmara Municipalities Union and Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Assoc. Dr. Tahir Büyükakın said, “Our metro project is progressing very rapidly. We closely follow the Metro project, whose construction we have transferred to our ministry. Hopefully, we, as the Metropolitan Municipality, will operate the Metro, which will reach the year 2023. We continue to work for our people to have high quality, fast and comfortable transportation ”.

Mayor Büyükakın, who wished the Osmangazi District tradesmen for fruitful works in the examinations, which included Darıca Mayor Muzaffer Bıyık, AK Party District Chairman Ufuk Acay and Metropolitan Municipality Regional Coordinator İbrahim Pehlivan, said, “The fact that our citizens thank us in every work we produce strengthens our determination to work. As we always say, our responsibility is great. We are working at an intense pace to do justice to this great responsibility our people give us. We will continue to take steps that will carry our city and Darıca district further. We have only one effort, to develop our city for a better future for our children and to make it a more livable city ”.

Adding that transportation projects are very important for a city, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Assoc.
