Muğla Governor Tavlı examined the cable car project in Fethiye Babadağ. The ropeway, which will be completed by the end of the year and will carry 1 million people per year, will make a great contribution to tourism.
According to the report of Erdogan Cankuş from Sabah; “Muğla Governor Orhan Tavlı examined the cable car project being built in Babadağ in Fethiye district where he came for the public order meeting and received information from the authorities. Fethiye District Governor Eyüp Fırat, Muğla Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Yusuf Kenan Topçu and Provincial Police Chief Süleyman Suvat Dilberoğlu accompanied the Governor Tavlı.
THOUSAND 500 PEOPLE IN HOUR
Governor Orhan Tavlı, who visited the 700, 800 and 900-meter tracks of Babadağ, was informed by Nazım Ekşi, one of the company executives. It was stated that with the cable car, which is expected to be completed at the end of this year, 500 visitors will be taken from Ölüdeniz to Babadağ in one hour, and if the pandemic conditions disappear, a minimum of one million visitors will be taken to Babadağ per year.

Governor Orhan Tavlı, who inspected the ropeway project for about 3 hours, said, “The project will make a significant contribution to the tourism of our country when it is completed. I wish good luck to our country, ”he said. Governor Orhan Tavlı received information about the social facilities to be brought to Babadağ with the project, as well as the transportation of visitors with the cable car and chair lift.
