Sivas Meets YHT
Stating that Sivas started the preliminary preparations for the high-speed train, which will start its flights between Ankara and Sivas in the near future, Governor Ayhan said, “Mountains are crossed, rivers are crossed, Sivas meets with YHT. We can summarize these preliminary preparations as mental preparations related to High Speed Train, sectoral impact analysis, examination of samples, development of benefit models and making investments in line with this information. After the first academic research study in 2013, we conducted two different scientific studies and scientifically followed the change of the process and perception. In addition, with the researches we conducted, we analyzed the sectoral effects of the High Speed Train through the examples of Eskişehir and Konya. Since 2018, we have entered a period where our mental preparations have become concrete and when it will be opened. During this period, we organized workshops where the opinions of every part of the city were taken. The most important agenda of Sivas's 2018 vision in the 'Future with a Common Mind Workshop in 2023 and the sectoral workshops we organized this year was again the High Speed Train. " He spoke in the form.
Ankara-Sivas Coming Soon 2 Hours
Governor Salih Ayhan said, 'We are approaching the end in the construction of a total of 405 kilometers of high-speed train line between Ankara and Sivas,' and continued his words as follows:
“What will we offer to the people who will come to our city, which areas of movement will we create, will we be able to create environments where visitors will spend quality time in our city? We have to make all these plans professionally. With a city that does not prepare its infrastructure for high-speed trains, it is not possible to benefit from the positive effects. We will interact with the cities we are connected to, and this interaction will take place not only in spatial terms but in many areas. We will be able to see the traces of this interaction in many social, cultural, scientific, economic and sports fields. We will create a new urban development corridor by combining not only with a railway line but with all our dynamics. We expect the first development to be in the service sector. Therefore, as Sivas Governorship, we held special meetings with the actors of the sector. Hoteliers, Restaurants, Agencies, Craftsmen. Our aim was of course to unite all stakeholders around the same vision and mission. In this sense, I think we have a good relationship. I would like to especially thank all our professional associations who contributed to this partnership. " said.
Sivas Will Become A Destination Center In Tourism

In this sense, we read the era well and follow the changing understanding of tourism. We aim to make Sivas a destination center with an effective tourism promotion. Our city is almost an open-air museum with its nature, history and unique city square. We are creating new attraction centers that will add value to our city and contribute to its visibility. Hamidiye Culture Park, Altınkale Project, Yıldız Mountain Winter Sports Center, Hafik Lake, Tödürge Lake, Gökpınar Lake, Kangal Dog Production, Training and Protection Center, Emirhan Rocks, Divriği Arasta Bazaar are some of them. The most important examples of the tourism reflections of the cultural values of the city are of course Museums. Within the framework of our vision of "Museum City Sivas", we have an intense effort to increase our museum diversity as well as the development of our existing museums. " said.
