Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş continues his production-oriented works. Project Organization Construction Natural Gas İç ve Dış Ticaret Sanayi Anonim Şirketi (PORTAŞ), affiliated to the Metropolitan Municipality, started asphalt production at the New Cyprus Construction Site after the Polatlı and Old Cyprus Construction Site. With the commissioning of the new facilities, it is aimed that a significant part of the asphalt need of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality will be produced by its own means.

The Metropolitan Municipality, which reduces costs in many areas with the savings methods it applies throughout the capital, continues its asphalt production without slowing down. In this context, the Metropolitan Municipality started asphalt production at the New Cyprus Construction Site after the Polatlı and Old Cyprus Construction Site.
NEW CYPRUS CONSTRUCTION SITE HAS COME INTO PRODUCTION
Project Organization Construction Natural Gas İç ve Dış Ticaret Sanayi Anonim Şirketi (PORTAŞ), affiliated to the Metropolitan Municipality, will produce 2 thousand tons of asphalt per day at the New Cyprus Construction Site, where it started asphalt production.
Adopting the principle of using its own resources correctly, the Metropolitan Municipality aims to further reduce asphalt costs with the third plant it opened. With the new facilities coming into operation, it is aimed to produce a significant part of the asphalt need of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality with its own means.
WE AIM TO PRODUCTION OF 15 THOUSAND TONS OF ASPHALT PER DAY
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Secretary General Baki Kerimoğlu, who came to the New Cyprus Construction Site and examined the first production works with PORTAŞ General Manager Mesut Özarslan and PORTAŞ Board Chairman Hasan Hilmi Güllü, gave the following information:
PORTAŞ, which opened three asphalt plant facilities, namely Polatlı, Old and New Cyprus Construction Site, aims to put the Beypazarı and ŞerefliKoçhisar construction sites into operation.
