Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar Literature Museum Library is a literature museum and archive named after the Turkish novelist, short story writer and poet Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar. The museum in Istanbul was established by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and was opened to visitors on 12 November 2011.

The library serves in the Alay Pavilion, located on the corner tower of the wall that surrounds Topkapı Palace, to the left of the entrance of Gulhane Park in the Historical Peninsula. II. The mansion, built by Mahmud in 1810, has an empire style, with a throne room, two halls and three rooms in the upper part. In the lower part, there are two rooms and a wide part.

After the construction of the Alay Mansion Dolmabahçe Palace, he handed over his duty to the Pink Pavilion. In the Alay Mansion, which has been the center of the Fine Arts Union since the 1910s, on July 18, 1928, at 15.00:19, the literary figures of the period gathered to establish the association's literature branch. It can be seen from the newspapers and magazines of the period that Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar was elected as a member to the meeting dated 1929 September 1920, literature meetings were held from the 1930s to the end of the XNUMXs, and these meetings were attended by the literary figures of the period.

On the second floor of the museum, a place is reserved for the works of well-known Istanbulite writers such as Yahya Kemal Beyatlı, Necip Fazıl Kısakürek, Nedim, Orhan Pamuk and Nâzım Hikmet. There are also temporary exhibitions in the museum. Literature museum in Turkey as Ankara, Adana and Diyarbakir is the fourth of its kind after the drop.

The Tanpınar Literature Research and Application Center, which was established on December 12, 2017 under the founding chairmanship of Handan İnci within the body of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, also operates within the museum.
