The regulation on additional payments to healthcare workers struggling with coronavirus was published in the Official Gazette and entered into force.
The regulation signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is as follows: 'For three months, effective from 1.8.2020, contracted family physicians will receive a net monthly fee of 3.000 TL, and family health workers will receive a net monthly amount of 850 TL, without being subject to the principles set forth in this regulation. Taking into account the number of registered people followed due to the 19 outbreak, additional payments can be made in the amount determined by the Ministry of Health. The gross amount of the additional payment to be made pursuant to this article and the sum of the social security premium or deductions to be paid by the state shall be taken into account in the third paragraph of Article 16 and in the second paragraph of Article 19. "
