The Ministry of Internal Affairs sent a circular to 81 Provincial Governorships about informing the Contacts correctly. In the Circular, it was reminded that Fillation Studies Follow-up Boards were established in order to ensure that people with coronavirus diagnosis or contact who were taken into isolation at home, comply with the isolation conditions determined by the Ministry of Health.

With the circulars previously sent to the provinces, the decision to complete the isolation processes of the people who violate the isolation conditions or who do not have the opportunity to provide the isolation conditions within the Provincial Outbreak Control Centers to ensure that the measures taken in the fight against the epidemic are effectively implemented in the field. It was reminded that it was given.

In the circular, the patients who were diagnosed with coronavirus at the current stage gave incomplete information in some cases (such as not giving correct information about the contact persons working in the private sector due to economic concerns); In some cases, it was determined that people who were not actually in contact (such as notifying public personnel with contact for different reasons) were reported as contact persons, and the following measures were requested to be taken.

Regarding incomplete or misleading or untrue statements / notifications made by patients diagnosed with coronavirus, the Provincial / District Hygiene Committees decide on those involved in such acts, Article 206 of the Turkish Penal Code "makes false statements to the public official who has the authority to issue an official document the person found will be sentenced to imprisonment from three months to two years or to a judicial fine ”.

The Governor / District Governors will not cause any disruptions in the implementation, and in the event that false, incomplete and misleading statements are detected, an administrative action will be taken in accordance with the relevant articles of the General Hygiene Law.

Necessary judicial proceedings will be initiated within the scope of Article 206 of the Turkish Criminal Code regarding criminal behavior.
