FOLLOWED WITH CARE
With the end of the summer and the holiday season, the use of public transportation increased as the working life became intense. Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, which meticulously follows every moment of the fight against the epidemic, continues to take the necessary measures both within its own structure and in line with the decisions of the Kocaeli Provincial General Health Board. Among these measures, disinfection of public transportation vehicles is of great importance.
PRIVATE PUBLIC BUSES ARE DISINFECTED
Transportationpark A.Ş. It provides public transportation services to citizens with its 336 bus and 2 thousand 100 private public buses. Within the scope of combating the epidemic, the disinfection of private public buses is carried out by the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Department. In this context, disinfection operations are carried out every day by disinfection teams in the West Terminal, South Terminal and East Terminal in the center of Izmit, and at the relevant terminals in Gebze, Darıca, Çayırova and Dilovası districts.

With this move, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Department continues both the disinfection and inspections of public transportation vehicles for the health and safety of citizens.
