Mayor of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç gave the good news of 20 new buses that will join the transportation fleet and examined the buses to be bought.
Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality adds 20 more buses to its fleet in order to provide better service to citizens as required by the rules to be applied on buses during the pandemic period. Operating under the Metropolitan Municipality, Transportation Inc. With a fleet of 634 buses, it strives for citizens to benefit from transportation services in a quality way. Due to the pandemic, in order to protect the health of citizens, the Metropolitan Municipality adds new buses in its fleet in order to be able to transport with less people in buses.
Mayor Büyükkılıç, who examined the new vehicles to be bought with his instructions, said, “We are living in the pandemic period. We make radical decisions. Our aim is to provide the comfort of our citizens and to take the health conditions at the least problematic level. With this understanding, we have more or less completed our negotiations. Our Transportation Inc. will strengthen the fleet of our Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality by purchasing 20 buses. Hopefully, our citizens will be away from the images that previously complied with legal standards during peak hours, but disturbed our citizens by perception. We will have done our part. We have always seen the necessary support and sensitivity from our citizens in this regard.
