Face-to-face education in schools was initiated by the Ministry of National Education, with diluted practices, once a week in kindergarten and primary school 1st grade.

Schools, which have been closed since March due to the new type of coronavirus (Kovid-19) epidemic, opened their doors for kindergarten and primary school 1st graders within the framework of the measures taken. The new education period was started on 31 August through distance learning using TRT EBA, EBA and live lessons. The orientation program to be held on 21-25 September, the first week of the opening of the schools, will be in the form of "1 day face-to-face education" in pre-school education institutions and 1st grade primary school.

Participation of the student in face-to-face education will not be obligatory, and the parents will be able to provide the student to continue the distance education voluntarily without making a written application. The adaptation program, which the school administrations will decide on the week of September 21-25, together with the teachers, will be 30 day in pre-school education institutions with 5 activity hours of 1 minutes, 1 lesson hours of 30 minutes in the first grades and 5 hours in between. It will be planned over 10 day with every minute breaks.

It will be ensured that the class size is divided into two separate groups in accordance with social distance rules and that each group's school adaptation program will be on different days. Necessary directions will be given to students to comply with social distance during break times.

The week after the integration week, which covers the dates of 28 September-2 October, and then, 2 days a week, 30 lessons of 5 minutes each, face-to-face training will be held. There will be a 10-minute rest period between lessons. Necessary planning, including the duty of duty, will be carried out by the school administrations in order to maintain the social distance between students during break times.

No visitors will be accepted to schools

In this process, visitors will not be accepted to schools unless it is compulsory, and in case of necessity, the visitor will be registered and accepted in line with the measures. Children will be informed about healthy living at the preschool and primary school 1st grade adaptation program activities. In addition to activities such as hygiene, social distance, getting rid of fear and anxiety, activities will be organized for students to get to know the school and its employees.

In the activities prepared with the motto "No Education Without Health", the issues and expectations of all stakeholders regarding education will be included. The sample titles that will guide teachers' original studies: “Children's Introducing Activity, Healthy Living Activities (Complying with Hygiene Rules), Activity of Complying with Social Distance Rules (In-Class) Meeting Activity of Families, Promotion of Fear and Anxiety Learning Centers / School Sections, Introducing Classroom Rules , Healthy Living Activity (Compliance with Nutrition Rules), Social Distance Compliance Activity (Out of School), Recognition of School and Employees Activity, Healthy Living Activity (After School Nutrition and Hygiene) ”.

They start school with contactless games

The Ministry has prepared a “Contactless Games Book” for preschool and primary school 1st grade students to adapt to the new normal in an enjoyable way by more easily internalizing the mask, social distance and personal hygiene conditions. The books were delivered to teachers to be applied in all schools as of September 21st. Each of the 60 games in the book, which does not involve any physical contact, is designed in a way that helps the development of “meeting, communication, attention, movement and cooperation” in children.

After the integration week, they will go to school two days a week

The week after the integration week, covering the dates 28 September-2 October, and on the other hand, Turkish lesson 2 days a week, 3 lessons, 6 lesson hours, math 2 hours a week, 1 lesson each week, life studies 2 days a week. 2 course hours, including 1 course hour, will be given by face-to-face training. The course hours of these courses cannot be taught face-to-face, and other courses in the primary school's 2st grade program will be implemented with EBA TV and EBA portal live classroom applications and distance education systems. Ziya Selçuk, Minister of National Education, announced that live lessons can be held at any time from 1:08.30 in the morning to 20.20:XNUMX in the evening.

Schools are ready for face-to-face education

As face-to-face training started, all necessary disinfection studies were completed in schools across the country, and the hygiene and disinfectant needs were met by the provincial directorates. It has been ensured that all schools have thermometers to be used in case of need. All students will be given free mask support within three weeks. The masks needed in 81 provinces were produced in vocational education institutions and public education centers and delivered to schools. Planning for buses for transportation of students to schools has been completed. In addition, trainings for bus drivers in all provinces covering the precautions to be followed in student transport were completed and necessary information was provided.

Alert mechanism ready

Within the scope of Kovid-19 measures, the integration system and warning mechanism established between the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Health were also prepared. Thanks to the system, instant notifications will be made to the educational institution administrators in case of a possible risk in students, teachers, all employees in educational institutions and school bus drivers. School administrations will act immediately after the notification received and implement the procedures in the Ministry of Health guide and the necessary measures will be taken. In case of a possible risk, the system will warn other students in the student's classroom or even on the school bus, and take action.
