The teams that made it to the finals of the Robotaxi Passenger Autonomous Vehicle Competition organized with the support of TÜBİTAK, Bilişim Vadisi and HAVELSAN, sweated. Minister Varank shared this excitement on the final day of the competition, which encouraged participants to gain competence in the field of autonomous vehicle technologies, original design, algorithm and reporting. Following the races held in Informatics Valley, Varank received information about autonomous vehicles from the finalists.

Stating that they provide job and paid internship opportunities to young people who are successful in rocket competitions at ROKETSAN, Varank said, “We provide internship opportunities for our graduates from here very easily. We are in cooperation with the private sector in these competitions. If we have young people to apply for a job, we will of course evaluate them. Even our companies need personnel. FORMULA 1 WORD TO COMPETITORS

Varank promised an invitation to the autonomous contestants for Formula 9, which will be held in Istanbul Park after 1 years, if there is an audience.

FUTURE ENGINEERS

Stating that autonomous vehicle technologies are one of the areas where most of the studies are carried out in the world, Varank said, “We want to train the engineers of the future from here. We believe our young people will be very successful. TUBITAK, Turkey Team Foundation Technologies (T3) are working with the interest of our young people by organizing this competition to take to the field. " He spoke in the form.

CONGRATULATIONS

Being one of the 17 finalists; Sakarya University SAİTEM Team was the only team to complete the course. The driverless vehicle developed by the team completed all the commands and completed the course. Varank went to the Sakarya University SAİTEM Team vehicle and congratulated the team.

17 TEAMS IN THE FINAL

Of the 5 teams that made it to the finals, 127 teams that successfully passed the technical controls and test stages were qualified to compete in the competition, where 132 teams, 17 from abroad and 14 from Turkey, applied.

TOTAL 160 THOUSAND TL AWARD

The first winner will receive 75 thousand TL, the second 50 thousand TL, and the third 35 thousand TL, and the finalists will be awarded 160 thousand TL in total.
