Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality continues to work on new pedestrian overpasses that will enable citizens who want to go to the Science Center, Kocaeli Congress Center and Education Campus to easily cross.
Metropolitan, which started the work of overpasses that will make transportation much easier in the regions, has completed the steel foot assembly of the overpass, which was started at the Science Center tram stop. Likewise, the assembly of beams will begin in the project whose elevator tower steels have been completed. The teams that started to work in the area where Kocaeli Congress Center is located, excavated the area where the feet for the overpass will be placed and carried out the necessary drilling works. It has been reported that the foot foundations will be started in the project, where pile construction continues. In the Training Campus, pile manufacturing will start next week.
STEEL FOOT ASSEMBLY IS COMPLETED
One of the overpasses that will make transportation much easier in the region is built right where the tramway's Science Center Tram Station Station is located. Steel leg assembly has been completed in the overpass construction, which was started to allow the citizens coming to visit the Science Center and the Seka Paper Museum and the passengers to get off and on the West terminal to pass the Sekapark area. The assembly of beams will begin in the project, where the elevator tower steels have been completed. The pedestrian overpass to be built right next to Sekapark Station Stop will be 81,75 meters long, 3,3 meters wide, with two spans and 180 tons of steel material. In the pedestrian overpass, there will also be an elevator for the disabled and citizens over 65.
IT WILL PROVIDE TRANSPORT TO THE CONGRESS CENTER
One of the overpasses that will provide the transition and transportation to the Sekapark side continues in the area close to Kocaeli Congress Center. Metropolitan teams, which started the construction of the overpass bridge in order for the citizens coming off the tram stop to pass to the Congress Center and Sekapark area, carry out drilling works in the area where the feet will be located. While the places where the feet will be mounted are determined, the related productions continue from the other side. After the completion of the pile construction, foot foundations will begin. The overpass to be built here will be 61 meters long and 3.3 meters wide, and there will be 65 elevators for the disabled and pedestrians over 2 years of age.
ON THE STATION OF THE EDUCATION CAMPUS
In addition, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality will build a pedestrian overpass bridge with a steel carcass system, which will cover the tramway and the railway, next to the tram's Training Campus stop. An overpass bridge will be built so that citizens coming from the tram stop and the citizens coming from the schools area can pass the Sekapark area. Pile manufacturing will begin within the scope of the project. The overpass, which is 38 meters long and 3 meters wide, will also have an elevator for the disabled and pedestrians over 65 years of age.
