Underlining that the guide is a guide with written and visual content, which is based on national standards and includes the latest regulations in the legislation, Minister Selçuk said, “The Accessibility Guide is supported by explanatory texts and three-dimensional visuals that can be used in buildings from the first to the last stage of design. we planned it as a resource. In the first section titled “Measures of Accessibility and Basic Design Rules”, the principles that should be included in the design are explained in order to ensure the mobility of citizens and elderly people in different disability groups. Accessibility standards for building gardens and interior spaces are described in the sections "Near the Building" and "Car parks". In the "Building Entrances" and "Doors and Windows" sections, the accessibility regulations to be made for the entrance to the building, interior doors and windows are included.

Accessibility Conditions Are Available in Kitchens, Bathrooms and Rooms

In the sections of "Indoor Vertical Circulation", "Alarms and Building Installation", "Markings" and "Sensible Walking Surface Signs", alternative access methods and arrangements with elevators and stairs are included; In the “Other Usage Areas” section, there are accessibility conditions that should be applied in kitchens, bathrooms and rooms.
