The line connects Ganzhou city of Jiangxi province and Shenzhen city of Guangdong province and forms part of the Beijing-Hong Kong YHT line. There are a total of 436 stations on the 14-kilometer line. A high-speed train that can travel at a speed of 350 kilometers per hour will reduce the duration of the journey between these two cities, which was previously taken in seven hours, to two hours.
