Northern Marmara Motorway is now entrusted to the Gendarmerie!

As of today, the Traffic and Public Security Services on the Northern Marmara Motorway, which is 163 km long from Silivri Kınalı toll booths to the Kocaeli Province border, will be under the responsibility of the Provincial Gendarmerie Command. Istanbul Governor Ali Yerlikaya shared a video from his social media account after the Northern Marmara Highway became the responsibility of the Gendarmerie.

As of today, the 163 km Northern Marmara Motorway Traffic and Public Security Services from Silivri Kınalı toll booths to the Kocaeli Province border will be under the responsibility of our Gendarmerie.

34 personnel were assigned to 72 Gendarmerie Traffic Teams established in Anatolian and European Highway Section Commands in order to provide traffic safety and service of the Northern Marmara Motorway.

To solve the problems faced by drivers and passengers traveling on the highway, they will be able to call the 112 Emergency Call Center and submit their requests.
