Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu, who continued to investigate the region immediately after the disaster that occurred in Giresun, said that they opened all the main arterial roads in the region, and that they reached 100 villages from 90 villages whose roads were blocked.

Making a statement in the live broadcast program of Haber Global Television in Dereli, Minister Karaismailoğlu said, “As a result of the rain that started towards the evening on August 22nd and continued throughout the night, a great disaster occurred. Especially in the Dereli region. When we first came to the region, there was a terrible environment and picture here, but gradually the traces of the disaster started to disappear. The rubble carried by the disaster here has been cleared. We will start the infrastructure as soon as possible ”.

"Our state is in the region with all its institutions"

Pointing out that as the state, they are mobilized in the region with all their institutions, Minister Karaismailoğlu said, “Our state is working here with great devotion, and great examples of helping each other are exhibited. We will restore these places as soon as possible, so no one should doubt that. " used the expressions.

More than 100 of the 90 village roads that were closed were opened for transportation

Answering a question regarding the village roads that were closed to transportation, Minister Karaismailoğlu said, “There were more than 100 closed village roads. As of now, we have opened more than ninety of these roads. Our state is very strong here, we will heal all wounds as soon as possible. We provide transportation to Doğankent from the service road. We started our permanent projects there. We will also start permanent manufacturing there in the next few days. There are problems in Espiye Creek, and the project work on them continues. There were problems in Yağdere and Üçtepe. We have no roads that are closed on the main roads. We provided all of them as a service road, albeit temporarily. We are trying to take more permanent measures to prevent disasters from happening again. " said.

"We will renew the damaged bridges"

Answering a question about the bridges destroyed in the disaster area, Minister Karaismailoğlu said, “We will demolish the bridges destroyed by the flood and build new ones first. We are carrying out project studies. After the wreck is removed, we will start rebuilding with permanent projects, ”he said.

The transportation infrastructure of the region will be renewed

Reminding that the infrastructure in Dereli was built two years ago, Minister Karaismailoğlu said, “The infrastructure was significantly damaged after the disaster. I hope we will renew them all. After collecting the flood waste and cleaning the details, we will start the infrastructure works immediately and take care of them in a short time ”.
